Below shows the video clip in the cinema of the screening. The response seemed to be good, everyone clapped and laughed at Shannon dancing, so I hope the audience liked it.
"When we watched it we felt like we were there" - This made me happy as this is what I wanted my target audience to feel. I wanted them to have fun watching it and it seemed like everyone was interested in watching it.
"If you just tilted the camera a bit lower.. that would have been really good, so you could of got more of the body."
I was happy to see that someone else noticed this, because when my group were filming I kept telling them to put the camera more down, but it never happened. So it was good to see that someone had a mutual opinion with me.
I would have changed my white wall scenes and got more of my body in the shot, as it would have been less boring and more eye catching. I would have brought more glow sticks, alcohol and glow in the dark necklaces, to make the party scenes brighter. I would have not been insecure and danced more for my grade. I would have kicked out all the idiots at the party if I had it my way. I would have put more light into the whole music video and made sure we took the charger, as I didn't know we were allowed to take the chargers with us. I would have got extra footage of me in the party scenes, because watching me through out the whole chorus was a bit repetitive. It would have been nice to see extra footage. I would have put me and Shannon in more outfits, as you only saw one on me, and as i never got a full body shot, it was not even shown. I did wear the outfits I said I was going to wear. They were just not shown... Finally, I would have been more organised in terms of equipment duty I.e not knowing about the charger.
What I did learn from people's comments is that my lip syncing was actually okay. I thought it was terribly bad. However, people said different so I was glad about that. I never thought we got a lot of locations in, but other students said we did, so I was happy to hear that.
