Reflecting on As year : lip sync in june

From what we learnt how to make a thriller is totally different from making a music video because in a thriller you have a narrative story but in a music video, there is alot of cut between shot and fast pace editing. Our teacher told us to forget what we knew about how to make a thriller and start fresh on making a music video. A advise the teacher told us was to count and mark down every 4 beats in order to help us cut in the song and to fit different shot in the video. i have learnt that if we make a mistake during filming, we should still continue till the end of the song so then during editing we can cut that part out. i learnt that when we have collected all our clip we have to line them up in the timeline so it make a perfect sync and then we can cut and edit whatever we need to.
