I have learnt that the state of the music industry is suffering since a decade ago. More people are downloading more than they ever had and the industry is losing profit money from this, as people are not going out and buying the songs. Music is now very easy to access through the internet. However, on you tube adverts now play before the actual song plays, this is showing that you are watching the video for free. You can also access music on the TV and Radio. Songs are played in clubs, which is also i place where music gets heard.
Downloading is a big problem for the music industry now, people are now able to download music on their phones and is such a common thing now. This is also the same for films, as they are accessible on the internet. Music 10 years ago was brought on CD's and that is where the Artists made their money. However, now they have to sell out concerts just to make a profit.
